What Dish & Dash is

A directory of Indian and Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK, and a way to order from, or ask for a table at, the restaurants that run on GKSoft EPOS (marked “Order online”). We pass your order to the restaurant; we do not cook, sell or deliver food.

Your order is with the restaurant

• When you place an order, you are buying from the restaurant. The restaurant decides whether to accept it, prepares it, and delivers it or has it ready for collection.
• The restaurant sets its prices, delivery charges, minimum order and times. The total it works out — VAT, delivery and any bag charge included — is shown to you before any card is charged.
• An order is agreed only once the restaurant accepts it. If it turns the order down, any card payment taken for it is refunded.
• Questions or problems with food, timing or a refund go to the restaurant first; its phone number is on its page. If you cannot settle it, tell us and we will help.

Allergies

Dish descriptions come from the restaurant. If you have an allergy or intolerance, call the restaurant before ordering and say so in your order's note.

Paying

You pay the restaurant: in cash or by card when you collect or receive the order, or on the site by card where the restaurant offers it. A card payment on the site is taken by Stripe or Datman on the restaurant's behalf. Dish & Dash adds no fee of its own.

Your account

• Give your real name and a phone number the restaurant can reach you on.
• Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for orders placed with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time on your account page. We may close an account used to place false orders or to misuse the site.

Reviews

Reviews must be your own honest experience of the restaurant. The restaurant chooses which reviews to show and may hide one that is abusive, unlawful or about something else.

Restaurants that are only listed

For restaurants that do not take orders on Dish & Dash, the address, phone number, opening hours and pictures come from the restaurant or public sources and may be out of date. Check with the restaurant before you travel. A restaurant that wants its listing changed or removed can write to info@gksoft.co.uk.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but cannot promise it will always be. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law, or our responsibility for anything the law does not allow us to exclude. How we use your details is set out in our privacy notice.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If they change, the new version is published here with its date.
